So, there’s this really great superhero comic called Hawkeye. It’s a street level book about Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, and it’s one of the best comics Marvel is publishing at the moment.
Issue #7 came out today, and the book’s writer, Matt Fraction, is donating the royalties he gets from it to the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The more copies sold, the more money the Red Cross will get, and I’m always trying to convince people to start reading Hawkeye, so:The first five people to click here and send me their e-mail address will be gifted a copy of Hawkeye #7 from Comixology.
All five copies have been given away! I hope you guys love this issue as much as I do. If you sent me a message and didn’t get a reply yet, tumblr’s acting up and I never received it, so please resend it when you get a chance.
I’ll e-mail you a link to the comic, and after you sign in/register a comixology account, you’ll be able to read it right on their website.
The series is pretty accessible to new readers, so don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous issues, or aren’t familiar with the characters.
